In these courses, children will learn how to develop a creative project from the first idea to the finished result. They will draw their own designs, create templates, choose colours, cut the different shapes, and sew everything together using wool-blend felt sheets. Frequently asked questions
What age is this course for?
Our felt courses welcome children from age 5. Each course runs two age groups every Friday: ages 5–7 (75-minute lessons) and ages 8 and up (90-minute lessons).
What's included in the course fee?
All project materials, including wool-blend felt sheets and sewing supplies, are included, along with a small snack at each lesson. Please tell us about any allergies or dietary requirements when you register.
How many lessons are in a course, and can I book a single lesson?
Every course is four weekly lessons held on consecutive Fridays. Your booking covers all four lessons together; lessons aren't sold individually.
How many children are in each group?
Groups are kept small, with up to 6 children in each age group, so every child gets individual attention.
What language are lessons taught in?
Lessons are taught in Romanian, English and Russian.
How do I pay, and when is my place confirmed?
Booking is completed securely online through Stripe Checkout. Your place is confirmed once payment succeeds and Mareamea has received your registration.
Can I save by booking more than one course?
Yes. Book two courses and save 10%, or three courses and save 15%. The discount is calculated automatically at checkout based on the courses you choose.
What if I need to cancel or change my booking?
Email marina@mareamea.com before the first lesson with your name, registration number and email address. Your statutory rights are unaffected; see our Terms for full cancellation and refund details.

All lessons take place at Elkedag, Lingestraat 1, 2025 RC Haarlem.
